ROMA!

Sunlight inside St. Paul's Basilica

I don't even know where to begin. We visited so many places, The Colloseum, Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, The Pantheon, Circus Maximus, Roman Forum! I haven't even posted about Halloween yet! I will start with some photos from St. Paul's Basilica.

It
was Sunday, November 9th during Mass. I had a very strong feeling of the Spirit there. Mass was being conducted, but they allow tourists in to most sections. You can hear the organ playing, and the choir of priests singing. It was beautiful. But it was what happened to me while we were standing there that will be with forever.

A testimony that I belong to the true church, and that the man standing next to me (Lance), looking like a typical tourist, actually holds the keys to the priesthood, overwhelmed me. Of course, I already knew the church was true, but we need to always be worthy and willing to build upon our testimonies, especially now. Needless to say, I had to put my sunglasses back on inside the Basilica because of my tears.

I can't wait for more so I can live vicariously through you. How did the kids and Grandma handle things while you were away?

I had no idea you were going to Italy and I am very jealous. The pics you took were beautiful. That is one place overseas I would want to go. Everywhere else scares me. Looks like you had an awesome time!
